Email from Forums Help!

Road Runner Blocked the server from sending Email.

The Server was using CDONTS pointing to the local server SMTP in IIS. it was fast for the forums to post becasue it would cache the email local first. Now if i point to the RR servers. It slows down the Emails so must its going to be a issue!

Anyone know what "smarthost your mail through Road Runner's outbound mail servers" is?

Cant I set it to put the Email local then send to RR?

I was going to turn off the Cable modem over night so it gets a new I. it was blocked current IP. ;)

Anyone got another way to do this good?

This is the Email on that issues

Hello,

You are on a Road Runner residential IP address. You'll need to smarthost
your mail through Road Runner's outbound mail servers - your local customer
care/technical support department can assist you with configuring this.

I played with the DNS settings on the server and was able to get it to work.

RoadRunner is not blocking anymore. I think it was the DNS auto settings.

is everyone getting Email still?
